My name is Daniel Meany and I'm a nutritional therapist and personal trainer. We work with women in their 40's and 50's and coach them through weight loss. Many of our coaches and support coaches were once clients who've gone on to work as part of the Elate team after they finished their own weight loss programme.
Most clients who start with us have reached rock bottom. They can't wear the clothes they want, they avoid going out, their confidence is at an all time low and they are very worried about their health and how continuing on the path that they are on would effect not just them but also their families. In many ways their situation is already effecting family life, work life and social life.
We don't believe that running large classes and using a one size fits all approach to both fitness and nutrition will help these women which is why we prefer a one-2-one personalised approach. All our clients are busy women and the vast majority work full time and have kids. All need to lose weight and become stronger and more toned however what has worked in the past for them is no longer giving them the results they need. This is where we step in!
It's important to understand that you simply cannot lose weight without changing your diet.....unless that is, you are an athlete who is willing to work-out for hours each day. And lets face it, that's not an option. This is why our specialised coaching programmes allow for daily one-2-one contact focusing on education and daily accountability without taking up too much of our clients time.
