My journey to becoming a Body Transformation Expert
I have always been interested in nutrition and fitness. I first started studying nutrition when researching IBS. I was having gastrointestinal and digestive problems and looked towards my diet for a solution. When doing this extensive research I realised that I was very passionate about nutrition.
Obesity in Ireland is an escalating epidemic and through speaking with people I found that lack of knowledge was a huge problem. There are so many fad diets encouraging people to eat too little, base their meals on shakes and a host of other unhealthy ideas which don't work, and if they do it is only short term. I wanted to work with people and help to educate them about proper nutrition using real food. Losing weight doesn't have to mean boring calorie counting and yo yo dieting; eating should be a pleasure. Going on a diet isn't a fix, eating right is.
Sports Nutrition and Strength and Conditioning
In the past I Worked with St. Michaels junior football team, ladies football team and also trained Blackrock hurling team. Doing explosive strength training sessions and providing gym based strength programmes. It was important to insure players were match fit by discussing individual nutrition programmes including pre and post match nutrition. Learn more about the GAA strength programme here.
Sean has been involved sports for over 25 years. He first started while playing rugby in his youth and went on to train and then manage the Old Christian Rugby Club men's first team. Following this he continued his passion for exercise and nutrition by joining Daniel as part of the team at Elate in 2017. Sean is a fantastic motivational coach and help's to assist clients during the early stages of their programmes.
His passion for helping others to succeed where they may have failed in the past ensures that he is able to connect with each client helping them to create the best version of themselves through tailored nutrition and fitness plans. Sean's love for coaching is evident in every session and he always gives 100% effort.

Terrie has been there and come through it. Following her own amazing journey with us a lighter (4 stone lighter!) and happier Terrie joined our team. She's very passionate about helping other ladies who are now where she was. She knows your struggles, she understands where you are.

Jo "I have had weight issues for most of my life, starting in my early teens. Issues brought on by a well meaning mother, who instilled in me a sense of never quite being slim enough. As a result spent most of teenage years believing I was overweight when actually wasn’t, and looking back on photos of younger self, only realise this in retrospect.
I have worked in weight loss for many years…. I used to be Marketing Manager for Weight Watchers in the UK back in the 90s.
But really what I love about working with Elate is talking to women who are struggling with
weight issues, whether those issues are decades long, or only months, doesn’t matter.
Having weight problems affects the way we feel about ourselves, and the way we feel about ourselves affects everything in our lives. It can be hard to make changes, and it can be even harder to believe that you can make the changes necessary to change your life. But I do believe that with the support system in place that Elate offers, we really can help women achieve their goals, and feel better, more positive, younger, full of energy and zest for life again…… that’s what losing weight can bring. I’m not sure I understand completely why we feel so much better when we’re comfortable in our bodies, but we just do, undeniably, the confidence shines out of us.

The Elate programme is the only one I’ve ever done which has actually changed the way I eat….for the better. I realise now how what I eat affects how my day goes….eating well affects not just our physical wellbeing, but our mental and emotional wellbeing too… they are all connected.
I love helping women get off the negative spiral of eating crap, feeling crap and guilty, etc.. on to the positive spiral of eating well, feeling better and having more energy!"

Despite working 8 - 10 hours a day, she started going to the gym. This built her interest for health and wellness. She's been an advocate for various women's groups which battle infertility due to PCOS and this opened her mind to the mental and emotional struggles women face.
With this heightened passion for physical and mental wellness, she further widened her knowledge and experience in this field by completing courses, attending conferences and training seminars.
